About Most Common Phrasal Verbs
The main idea behind building this app is to help non-native English speaker get acquainted with the most confusing part of the English language that is, phrasal verbs.

Most people often find the phrasal verb part confusing as the phrasal verb consists of a verb and another word which can either be an adverb or a preposition or both. This combination gives it a whole new meaning which is difficult to get at. Let's try to understand it by an example.

Let's take a phrasal verb 'fall for'. The phrasal verb 'fall for' has two different meaning depending on the context in which we have applied it. One meaning is to fall in love and other is be deceived by someone in believing something. If you deduce the individual meaning of the words that is 'fall' and 'for', it is different from the meaning when used them together as a phrasal verb. Some phrasal verb has more than one meaning to it. So, it is the context that defines which appropriate meaning we have to choose from. Therefore, it is the practice in terms of the context that will make you understand phrasal verbs better and you could use it effectively in a day to day conversations and writings.

In the initial release of the app, we have included more than 200 most commonly used phrasal verbs in the English language. However, with every new release of the app, we will try to add more and more phrasal verbs, new features to the app.
