The LilyPonds app presents to the viewer a series of LilyPonds that are floating gently upon sine waves that are in sync with the violin music. Each of the Lily Ponds are based on traditional Buddhist mandala designs such as the Vairocana (Illuminator), Hevajra, Samvara, Yamantaka, rDorjeac'an (Holder of the Diamond), and the Mandalas of the Two Worlds (from the Muromachi period). Gazing downward at the LilyPonds as they go by should give a sense of ascending.

Each of the apps provide numerous viewing paths and are designed to run offline so they will give high replay value. These apps provide a view of music that should give one a deeper sense of the structure inherent to baroque music. Many of these animations were created back in the days of wire-frame graphics so they have been tested over the decades against a variety of head-trackers and head-mounted displays.
